Booking tags let you display small colour-coded icons on each booking in the occupancy calendar, so your team can spot important information at a glance, for example a birthday cake for birthday bookings or a tent for outdoor activities.
What are booking tags
A tag is a rule that you define once in the calendar settings. When a booking matches the rule, the tag icon appears on its booking card and in its booking details.
Up to 3 icons show on a booking card. If more tags match, the card shows +N.
In the booking details, each tag appears with its icon and name, and all matching tags are listed on the Tags line.

1. Create a tag rule
📌 How to access: app.smeetz.com > Catalogue > Calendars > Occupancy view > Settings > Booking icons
Scroll down in the Settings panel to the Booking icons section and click + Add rule. Each rule has two parts:
When: the condition a booking must match. Choose a field (Anything, Ticket name, Product name or Customer), an operator (Contains, Is or Is not empty) and enter a value. For example: Ticket name contains "Birthday".
Show: what the tag looks like. Click the icon to pick one from the icon library (use the search field), choose the icon colour and background colour, and give the tag a name. The name is shown in the booking details.
Add as many rules as you need with + Add rule, then click Save. The calendar refreshes and the icons appear on every booking that matches a rule.
⚠️ Changes only take effect after you click Save at the bottom of the Settings panel.
2. Show tags on the booking cards
What appears on each booking card is controlled by the Title and Subtitle settings at the top of the same Settings panel.
The tag icons now appear on the booking cards, below the title. You can combine tags with other information: the other Title and Subtitle options are Product, Ticket, Time, Customer full name, Booking reference and Booking state.
3. See tags in the booking details
Click any booking on the calendar to open its details. Matching tags are shown with their icon and name, together with the booking reference, product, ticket and scan status. From there you can click Edit order to open the full order.
