The cash drawer is connected to the receipt printer, which sends the signal to open when a sale is completed. If the cash drawer does not open, make sure the receipt printer is powered on and properly connected. You may need to restart the printer if needed.
To install the cash drawer, connect its cable to the receipt printer as indicated in the picture below.
