1. What are order summary receipts
Order summary receipts are typically used in kitchens or preparation areas. They print a summary of each order—similar to what appears on a receipt—but without displaying prices. This helps staff focus on order contents without any payment-related information.
We recommend using a wireless Epson printer for this purpose, such as the Epson TM-m30II, which works well in kitchen environments thanks to its reliable, cable-free setup.
2. Install the printer
First, install your thermal order summary printer by following one of these guides :
3. Set the order summary printer
On your POS, click on your "initials" in the top right, then click on point of sale settings.
Set Order summary receipt to Enabled.
Select your order summary printer from the drop-down menu, then click save.
4. Test the order summary printer
Login to the POS app.
Make a simple order.
Apply a cash payment.
On the final page, click on Print & then Only tickets.
The order summary should be printed.
Order summary receipts are automatically printed when a ticket is printed.
Note that you can adjust the POS settings if you want the receipt to be printed automatically or manually.
