How to set up the ticket printer on the point of sale

Set up your ticket printer (Zebra or Boca) on your Point of Sale. This guide covers installation, POS settings configuration, and printing tests.

1. Install the printer

  1. First, install your thermal ticket printer by following one of these guides :

2. Set the ticket printer

  1. On your POS, click on your "initials" in the top right, then click on point of sale settings.

  2. Select the correct ticket type :

    1. Regular ticket for Zebra printer.

    2. Boca ticket for Boca printer.

  3. Set ticket printer to Enabled.

  4. Select your ticket printer from the drop-down menu, then click save.

3. Test the ticket printer

  1. Log in to the POS app.

  2. Make a simple order.

  3. Apply a cash payment.

  4. On the final page, click on Print & then Only tickets.

  5. The ticket should be printed.

Note that you can adjust the POS settings if you want the tickets to be printed automatically or manually.
