How to set up the Boca Lemur thermal printer

This article explains how to install Boca thermal printers to print tickets onsite.

1. Hardware installation

  1. Connect the Boca Lemur printer to the POS device via USB

  2. Ensure the printer is powered on

  1. Click on the following link to download the zip file: http://www.bocasystems.com/Boca_Systems.zip

  2. Open the Downloads folder and extract the downloaded zip file

  3. "Run as administrator" the file named dpinstx64 located inside Boca_Systems/BocaPrinterDrivers folder

  4. Follow the installation wizard

3. Add a custom paper size

  1. Add a new format and save it.

  2. Go to the Boca printer settings

  3. In Printer Properties > Device Settings, set the default path to your newly created form and the other paths to not available

  4. Select the newly created format both in the printer preferences and the printer properties
