2. Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Submit your seating plan request

  • Send your request at least 2 weeks before the expected delivery date.

👉 Tip: To avoid delays, provide all details accurately from the start. If unsure, reach out to the support team before submitting.

Step 2: Provide the required information

2.1. Design file

Include a clear seating plan file with:

  • Full layout of the seating plan.

  • Seating locations for each area.

  • Numbering of all seats.

  • Rows clearly marked.

2.2. Category details (name, price, colour)

  • Define each pricing category with:

    • Category name.

    • Ticket price.

    • Color assignment.

  • Indicate which seats belong to each category on the seating plan.

  • If multiple sections or levels exist, state this clearly.

⚠️ Note: Any changes to category allocations require a new modification, which may take up to one week.

2.3. Orphan seats mode

  • Strict Mode (Default): Enforces seating rules, prevents single-seat gaps, and ensures optimal arrangements.

  • Lenient Mode (Optional): Offers more flexibility in seat selection.

2.4. Specific requirements

  • Indicate stage location (if relevant).

  • Mark exit points on the seating plan.

  • Show structural elements (doors, walls, etc.) that help with orientation.

  • Specify any special seating rules, such as blocking orphan seats or requiring grouped bookings.

3. FAQ & quick fixes

  • Problem: I need to change pricing after my seating plan is live.

    • Solution: Unfortunately, changes are not possible. Submit a corrected request before going live.

  • Problem: My categories don’t match my seating plan.

    • Solution: Double-check that category names, colors, and prices are aligned before submission.

4. Limits

  • Requests must be submitted minimum 2 weeks in advance.

  • Before going live, modifications (e.g., price category changes) can take up to 1 week.

  • Once finalised and published in Smeetz:

    • ✅ Seat numbers and rows cannot be changed.

    • ✅ Pricing and category assignments are locked.

    • ✅ No further edits are possible.
