The cash drawer is connected directly to the receipt printer, which sends a signal to open the drawer when a sale is completed.
If the cash drawer doesn’t open, please check the following:
Ensure the receipt printer is powered on and properly connected.
Try restarting the printer if needed.
Confirm that the cash drawer cable is securely connected to the receipt printer, as shown in the image below.
If everything is connected correctly, but the drawer still doesn't open after a sale:
