Your Accounting dashboards have a new look. Your data stays exactly the same. Only the screens changed. This article shows you how to export your reports and what else is different.
1. Export a report
Each table now has its own menu. It replaces the export button and the share link.
📌 How to access: Analytics > Accounting
Hover over the table you want to export. A three-dot menu appears in its top-right corner.
Click the three-dot menu, then Download...
Name your file and pick CSV or Excel.
Choose the row limit. You can export up to 1 million lines.
Click Download.
✅ Your file is saved to your Downloads folder.
The new dashboards have no public web link. To share figures with someone outside the back office, download the table or schedule a delivery by email.
2. Schedule a report or set an alert
The same three-dot menu lets you get reports without opening the dashboard.
Schedule delivery: receive the report by email on a regular schedule.
Alert: set an alert on the report.
2.1. Schedule or alert: which one do you need?
Schedule sends the report at a fixed time, every day, week or month. Use it for routine reporting, for example last month’s journal entries on the 1st of each month.
Alert checks the report on a schedule but emails it only when a condition is met, for example when the results change. Use it to be warned about something without getting an email every time.
| Schedule | Alert |
Email sent | Every time | Only when the condition is met |
Best for | Routine exports for accounting | Monitoring a figure |
Can send once right away | Yes (Now) | No |
Both are set up in the same panel. Click Schedule or Alert at the top to switch between them.
2.2. Schedule a delivery
Set the dashboard filters the way you want them in the report. The delivery starts with these filters.
Hover over the table, click the three-dot menu, then Schedule delivery... If a list of existing deliveries opens, click New.
At the top of the panel:
Delivery: Schedule
Send: the table you clicked, or Entire dashboard to get every table in one email
Destination: Email
Delivery name: a name to recognise this delivery
Schedule tab: pick how often to send the email.
Daily: tick the weekdays you want
Weekly: pick one day
Monthly: pick a day of the month, for example the 1st for last month’s figures
Now: sends the report once, as soon as you save
Set the time in At and check the time zone next to Times are in. The email arrives within 15 minutes of that time.
Chart tab (called Dashboard if you send the entire dashboard), under Format:
XLSX (Excel) or CSV gives you a file to open in a spreadsheet or import into your accounting tool. Tick Send all possible results so the file contains every row, not only the rows shown on screen.
PDF or PNG (Image) gives you a picture of the table as it looks on screen.
Under Controls and Filters, change any filter the email should use differently from the dashboard. A relative date range such as This week or Last month moves forward with each delivery.
Email tab:
Recipients: type an email address and press Enter. Repeat for each colleague.
Subject: prefilled with the table name. You can change it.
Body and File Name: optional.
Click Preview to check the content, or Test now to send the email to the recipients straight away.
Click Save.
✅ The report now arrives by email on the schedule you set.
2.3. Set up an alert
Hover over the table, click the three-dot menu, then Alert... (or click Alert at the top of an open delivery panel).
Fill in Send, Destination and Delivery name as you would for a schedule.
Alert tab:
Results to check: the figure the alert looks at.
Condition: when to send the email. The default is Results have changed. The first check never sends an email. It only records the starting results to compare against at the next check.
Schedule: how often to check (Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Custom) and at what time.
Fill in the Chart and Email tabs as you would for a schedule (steps 5 and 6 above).
Click Save.
✅ You now get an email only when the condition is met.
2.4. See, change or stop a delivery
Open the three-dot menu of any table and click Schedule delivery... The Deliveries & Alerts panel lists every schedule and alert created on this dashboard.
Click a delivery to change its schedule, format, filters or recipients, or to remove it.
Click New to add another one.
3. Filters and refresh
All filters sit in the bar at the top of the dashboard. A filter applies to every table on the page and takes effect as soon as you set it. There is no Apply button and no refresh button any more.
The dashboard uses four types of filters.
3.1. Single-choice list
Some filters take exactly one value, for example the type of date your period is based on.
Step 1. Click the filter. A list opens with the current value ticked.
Step 2. Click another value. The list closes and the tables update.
3.2. Date range
Step 1. Click the date range field.
Step 2. On the Presets tab, click a ready-made period, such as This week, Last 30 days or Last month. The tables update straight away.
Step 3. For exact dates, open the Custom tab. Type a Start date and an End date, or click the first and the last day in the calendar.
Step 4. Hover the ⓘ icon in the field to see the exact dates covered by the period you selected.
3.3. Value filters
Most filters let you choose one or more values. They show is any value when they are not active.
Step 1. Click the filter. A small window opens.
Step 2. Click inside the empty box. The list of available values appears. Tick the values you want, or start typing to search the list. The counter shows how many values are selected.
Step 3. Click Update. The filter now shows your selection, and every table on the page is filtered.
To remove a filter: click it, click Clear all, then Update. It goes back to is any value.
To search by text or exclude values: open the condition list at the top of the window (is equal to by default). Pick contains, or click More for conditions such as is not equal to, starts with or is empty.
To combine two conditions: click Add condition, then choose whether rows must match all or any of them.
3.4. Column selector
Some tables have a filter that chooses which columns the table shows. Each column appears as a tag. Click the × on a tag to remove that column, or use Clear all and Select all.
Find the other filters
The main filters fit on one row. Click more at the right of the bar to show the others. They work the same way as the types above. Click Show less to hide them again. A filter you set stays active even when it is hidden.
To see which filters a table uses, open its three-dot menu and hover filters applied.
Good to know
Filters are not saved. The next time you open the dashboard, it starts again from the default values. To receive a report with a fixed set of filters, schedule a delivery.
Filters apply as soon as you pick them. There is no Apply button any more.
All filtering is done with the filters at the top, not inside the table. The main filters are on one row. The others are under more.
Clicking a column header still sorts the table.
No refresh button needed. Results refresh on their own and are at most 10 minutes old.
4. What changed in the tables
Up to 50,000 lines on screen. For bigger periods, use the download: it includes everything.
Journal entries: pick the columns you need with the Columns filter at the top.
Accounting summary: the Open vouchers table is now available to every client.
Accounting summary: the receivables table has a new booking creation date column.
5. If you import these files into another tool
⚠️ Dates and numbers are written slightly differently in the downloaded files. If you have an automated import, check that it still reads the files correctly.
