Close your shift with confidence: reconcile your cash drawer, and review your own sales, VAT and payments for the day, all in one place.
This dashboard shows only your own sales as the signed-in cashier, not the whole venue. Each cashier sees their own shifts and transactions, which makes it the right report for closing your own register.
Who this is for
Primary: Cashiers and till operators closing their shift.
Secondary: Venue managers and finance reviewing cash reconciliation, VAT and payments.
When to use it
Close your shift by reconciling your cash drawer and reviewing your own sales, VAT and payments for the day.
Why use this dashboard
When you finish a shift, this dashboard checks that the cash in your drawer matches what the system expected, and lets you review what you sold and how customers paid, all scoped to you.

Visuals explained
Shift and cash reconciliation
Open / closure overview is a table of your shifts (register sessions), one row per shift and currency:
Cashier name, Open and close date, Currency.
Opening float: the starting cash you put in the drawer when you opened.
Counted cash: the cash you physically counted at close.
Expected cash: what the system expected in the drawer (opening float plus net cash sales).
Cash difference: counted minus expected. Zero means your drawer balances; a surplus or shortfall is worth investigating.
Balanced: a quick yes or no on whether the shift balanced.
Multi-currency reconciliation breaks cash movements down per currency: cash in, cash out, refunds, net cash sales, transfers (cash moved to or from the drawer, such as a drop to the safe), total counted, total expected and total variance.
Sales and VAT
Grouped tables you can expand and collapse like a pivot.
VAT report: sales grouped by accounting code and VAT rate, with sale lines, net sales, VAT amount and total including tax.
Sales details: a breakdown by accounting code, category, product, item and price, with quantity, net sales, discounts, VAT amount and total including tax. Cancelled sales are not counted.
Payments
Scoped to payments and refunds only.
Payment method report: payments grouped by gateway and method, with number of transactions, total payments, total refunds and the net amount.
Transaction report: a line-by-line log of each payment and refund (date and time, type, product and item, method and gateway, order reference, amount and tax).
Example scenarios
Does my drawer balance? Read Cash difference and Balanced in the Open / closure overview.
Where is a shortfall coming from? Open Multi-currency reconciliation and the Transaction report.
What VAT did I collect? Open the VAT report for your shift.
How did customers pay? Open the Payment method report.
Data freshness
The Last data refresh tile shows the date and time the dashboard last received fresh data, so you can trust the figures when you close your shift.
Known limitations
Scoped to you: the report shows only the signed-in cashier's shifts and sales, not the whole venue.
Expected cash is opening float plus net cash sales; cash drops or transfers to the safe appear in the multi-currency reconciliation, not in expected cash.
Cancelled sales are excluded from the sales and VAT tables.
