1. Install the printer software
Step 1: Download the installation file
Download the Smeetz receipt printer file from this link.
The file to launch is Setup.exe.
Transfer the file to a USB key or ensure the link is accessible from your email on the POS system.
Step 2: Install the driver
Follow the installation steps shown in the video: Installation driver printer.mp4.
Once the installation is complete, restart the printer.
Step 3: Set the printer as default
Open Windows device settings.
Navigate to Peripherals.
Right-click on the printers name and select "Set as default printer".
2. Test your installation
To print receipts, you must use the Smeetz POS app. The printer will not work if accessing the POS via an internet browser or back-office.
Step 1: Open the POS app
Log in to your account.
Step 2: Make a test transaction
Create a simple order.
Apply a cash payment.
On the final page, click "Print" → "Only receipts".
Step 3: Verify printing & cash drawer function
A receipt should print automatically.
The cash drawer (if connected) should open.
🔹 Tip: You can adjust the printer settings in the POS app to enable or disable automatic receipt printing.
Your printer setup is now complete!
