TeamViewer - How to install remote permanent access

Here is the procedure for installing TeamViewer so that Smeetz can take control of your POS terminals when tech troubleshooting is required.

Download TeamViewer full client in 64-bit.


2. Run the downloaded file.

3. Select "Install with default settings" and accept.


4. Open the options in the top right corner (gear icon)


5. In the left-hand column, select "Advanced" then "Show advanced options".


6.Scroll down to "Advanced settings for connections to this computer".

  • In "access control", select "Full access".

  • In "Personal password", enter the following password: Smeetz.TV@2024!

  • Confirm the password by re-entering Smeetz.TV@2024!

  • Select OK to save.

7. Notify support by email at support@smeetz.com when this is done with the IDs for all your cash registers.


TeamViewer must remain connected at all times. You may close the window using the cross icon, but please do not close the software itself so that we can assist you promptly if necessary.

You must also tick "Start TeamViewer with Windows".
