How to update your KYC details after launch

When your organisation changes banking or legal details, you must update your KYC in Adyen to ensure payouts continue to the new account.

Updated over a week ago

If your organisation changes its banking information or other legal details, you must update your KYC (Know Your Customer) information in Adyen. This ensures that payouts continue smoothly to your new bank account.

Updating your KYC does not block sales, but payouts will be on hold until the verification is completed. You have a maximum of 2 weeks to finalise the verification.

Steps to update your KYC details

  1. Go to Smeetz Pay.

  2. Edit your information (bank details, company details, or other required fields).

  3. Submit the changes for review.

  4. Adyen will review the updated information.

    1. During this period, your account remains active and customers can continue purchasing tickets.

  5. Wait for verification

    1. Payouts will be paused until the new KYC verification is completed.

    2. Once approved, payouts will automatically resume to the updated bank account.

Best practice

  • Plan the update immediately after your last payout to minimise payout delays.

  • Ensure that the uploaded documents are valid and clearly legible.

  • Contact your Account Manager if you anticipate urgent payouts during the verification period.
