Test run - Ready for launch

A test run is a full simulation of your operations before going live.

Updated this week

It allows you to identify and fix any issues with your setup, ensuring a smooth launch. This is the final step before customers start using your system in real conditions.

During the test run, we recommend reviewing every key area of your account using the dedicated checklist. Each step must be validated to ensure your configuration is correct and your team is ready.

The test run checklist

1. Account validation

Make sure your account settings are correct and fully operational.

  • Validate team access and user permissions

  • Confirm account branding (logo, colors, etc.)

  • Test all transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts)

  • Review analytics and financial reporting setup (VAT, tax codes, accounting mappings)

  • Validate marketing emails and templates

  • Review and test dynamic pricing strategies

  • Clean the account by removing test transactions

2. Product validation

Double-check that your offer is configured as expected.

  • Validate products and add-ons (descriptions, availability, prices)

  • Confirm seating plans are final (note: changes are restricted after launch) (if applicable)

3. Booking flows validation

Test the booking experience through all available channels.

  • Complete a test booking via your website or booking widget

  • Validate the POS flow via screen sharing with your business implementation manager

  • Confirm the kiosk booking flow (if applicable)

4. Hardware validation

Make sure everything works as expected on-site.

  • Check that all hardware (POS, printers, scanners, kiosks, payment terminals) is installed and functioning

  • Test scanning tools to validate access control and ticket scanning flows

5. Knowledge validation

Ensure your team is operationally ready.

  • Confirm everyone knows who to contact in case of questions or issues

  • Ensure team members can adjust POS settings if needed

  • Validate the team knows how to open and close sales on the POS
