Receipt printer troubleshooting
Follow those steps if you cannot print receipts.
Check those elements if you cannot print receipts
- Check all the cable connections (guide to install the printer correctly)
- Re-select the receipt printer as the default printer in your device settings
- Ensure you are on the POS app, because you will not be able to print a receipt by accessing the POS from an internet browser
- Turn the printer on and off
Reminder. The cash drawer is connected to the receipt printer. This is how it receives the information to open when a sale is completed. If the cash drawer does not open, please ensure that the receipt printer is powered on and correctly connected. You may need to turn it on and off if necessary.
