Promotions and memberships

How to read the Promotions and memberships dashboard: promo code and campaign redemptions, the discount value they generate, and membership-voucher usage.

See how your promo codes, campaigns, and membership vouchers are performing - how often each is redeemed and how much discount they give away - so you can decide which promotions are worth keeping.

Quick overview

This dashboard shows redemptions and discount value for every promo code and campaign you run, plus how your membership vouchers are being used, so you can double down on the promotions that work and retire the ones that don't.

Who this is for

  • Primary audience: Marketing and growth managers

  • Secondary audience: None

When to use it

  • Decision it helps you make: decide which promo codes and campaigns to keep, cut, or scale by weighing how often they are redeemed against the discount they give away, and track how your membership vouchers are taken up.

Why use this dashboard

When you run discount codes and campaigns, you need to know which ones customers actually use and how much revenue you are discounting to win those bookings. This dashboard puts redemptions and discount value side by side for every code and campaign, so you can see what is driving uptake and what is simply giving margin away.

Promo codes

  • Promo code usage count: how many times your promo codes were redeemed in the period, with the change versus the previous period.

  • Promo code discount value: the total discount given away through promo codes in the period, with the change versus the previous period.

  • Top-ranked promo codes per usage / by discount value: your codes ranked by redemptions, and separately by the discount they generated.

  • Top-ranked campaigns per usage / per discount value: your campaigns ranked by total redemptions, and by total discount given.

  • Promo code usage per ticket / item: redemptions broken down by the ticket or item they were applied to.

  • Promo code details (by product and price): a detailed view of promo-code usage by product and price point.

  • Promo code performance (usage, revenue, redemption): each code's usage, the gross sales value behind its discounted bookings, and its redemption rate, in one table.

Memberships

  • Membership voucher usage count: how many membership vouchers were redeemed in the period, with the change versus the previous period.

  • Membership voucher discount value: the total value of discounts redeemed through membership vouchers.

  • Top-ranked memberships per usage / per discount value: membership types ranked by voucher redemptions, and by total discount value redeemed.

  • Membership voucher details: a detailed view of membership-voucher usage.

  • Membership usage trend: membership-voucher redemptions over time.

Example scenarios

  • Cut a wasteful code: compare a code's discount value against its usage to spot codes that give away a lot of discount for very few bookings.

  • Scale a winning campaign: use Top-ranked campaigns per usage to find the campaign driving the most redemptions, then invest more in it.

  • Track membership uptake: watch the Membership usage trend to see whether voucher redemptions are growing over time.

Data freshness

  • How current is the data: the dashboard header shows the time of the last data refresh. Check that tile to see how up to date the figures are.

Known limitations

  • Discount value reflects the discount applied at the time of booking. If a booking is later refunded or cancelled the discount still counts, so discount value can be higher than the gross sales shown for the same period.

  • Selecting a specific promo code empties the membership tiles, because membership vouchers are not tied to promo codes. Clear the Promo code filter to see membership data again.

  • Campaign breakdowns depend on each code being attached to a campaign. Codes without a campaign are grouped on their own.

  • Monetary values are shown in your local currency.
