If you're looking for the full step-by-step process to set up an offer, you can find it in this article.

Scenario A: "3-for-2" ticket offer

Context:
A local zoo wants to encourage small groups to visit. They set up an offer so that when a visitor adds 3 zoo tickets to the cart, the cheapest one becomes free.

Customer Experience:
When the customer selects 3 zoo tickets, the system identifies the lowest-priced one and discounts it by 100%.

How to Set It Up:

  1. Choose product condition and specify the zoo tickets.

  2. Set minimum quantity to 3 and leave the maximum quantity to 0.

  3. Choose the buy x get y free discount type.

  4. Specify “1 free ticket” once the other 2 zoo tickets are in the cart.

Scenario B: Weekend discount for membership holders

Context:
A museum offers 20% off to registered members on Saturdays and Sundays only.

Customer Experience:
Any member who adds a ticket to the cart for a weekend date sees a 20% discount automatically applied.

How to Set It Up:

  1. Create a new offer with a membership condition (the user must scan or enter membership info).

  2. Add a product condition if you want the discount to apply only to specific products/tickets.

  3. Set percentage discount to 20%.

  4. Under validity, restrict visit days to Saturday and Sunday.

Scenario C: Buy 2 retail items, get a 3rd 50% off

Context:
A gift shop wants to boost merchandise sales. They create an offer that detects when at least 2 t-shirts are in the basket. If so, the third t-shirt gets a 50% discount.

Customer Experience:
Once the shopper has 3 t-shirts in the cart, the system applies a half-price discount to the cheapest t-shirt.

How to Set It Up:

  1. Create an offer with a product condition pointing to your “t-shirt” product.

  2. Set minimum quantity to 3 and maximum quantity to 3.

  3. Use percentage discount (50%) and apply it to “1 item” (the cheapest) each time the condition is met.

  4. If you want multiple redemptions in one order (e.g., 6 t-shirts = 2 discounted), set the offer usage limit per booking accordingly.

Scenario D: seasonal code: “Summer30”

Context:
An attraction runs an autumn promotion: 30% off all adult tickets Monday–Friday in October, but only if the user enters “Summer30”.

Customer Experience:
If the customer types in code “Summer30” at checkout, the system applies a 30% discount to adult tickets in July (Monday–Friday).

How to Set It Up:

  1. Create an offer with a code condition: “Summer30”.

  2. Under product condition, select price and choose the “adult ticket”. If you want to discount any adult tickets within a product, use the family condition instead.

  3. Set the percentage discount to 30%.

  4. In validity, pick the start/end date range for July and select weekdays Monday to Friday.

Scenario E: Family discount for a group with child and adult

Context:
A family entertainment center gives a discount whenever there’s at least one adult bringing two children—offering 10% off the total.

Customer Experience:
If the cart includes 1 adult and 2 children tickets, everything in that set is discounted by 10%. If there are more than 1 adult and 2 child tickets, the customer still gets the 10% discount.

How to Set It Up:

  1. In a new offer, choose family condition (min adult tickets = 1, min child tickets = 2; leave max values at 0).

  2. Set a percentage discount of 10% and make sure the discount applies to all tickets.

  3. Under booking days, exclude specific dates as needed (e.g., public holidays).
