Create promo codes

This article explains how to create promotional codes.

Go to the Promotional Campaign menu

You can find it under the Marketing tab.

Add new Promotional Campaign

Add a name

Chose the type of discount to apply

  • A flat-rate discount on the total amount of the ticket (e.g. CHF 20 discount on a ticket worth CHF 100).

  • A percentage discount on the total amount of the ticket (e.g. 20% discount on a ticket worth CHF 100).

Chose the type of promocode you want to apply

  1. A single promotional code

  2. Or multiple unique promotional codes

If you need to create a large number of promotional codes, we advise you to use https://www.voucherify.io/generator# and copy-paste them in the promo codes section.

You must then determine the maximum number of uses for your promotional codes.

Chose on what level does the promocode will apply

Chose the validity of your promo codes


Add a picture to your campaign on your POS

This step is not compulsory, you can then click on the save button

Where do promo codes apply?

  1. Online

    1. Codes are applicable in the booking flow, in the checkout section :

    2. If the code is invalid, the error message "This code is invalid, check the code or the validity date" will pop up on the top right hand corner.

    3. If the code is valid, a validation message will pop-up on the top right hand corner.

    4. You can then apply other codes, or remove the code that you just applied.
      Codes get burned only after the customer payment.

    5. The basket will be instantly updated with the new amount due.

  2. From the Back office

    1. Codes are applicable from the Discounts and gift card section.

    Additional tip

    You can the validity of your promo codes or gift cards on the booking flow, them remove them safely as shown previously. This is helpful in situations where a customer is unable to successfully apply the code, allowing you to determine whether it’s due to a manual error or a setup issue.
