Personalise your booking flow with prices and colours (fear of missing out strategies)

You can now personalise your booking flow and create urgency by showing price and availability information on the time slots directly.

Go to your product > select a ticket > go to "time slot display options"

You have 3 types of customisation possible.

1. Show the ticket price on the time slot with a colour code

If you do not use dynamic pricing, then the colour and the price will be the same for every time slot. 

  1. Enable the strategy
  2. Select the price range for which you want the price colour to be adjusted and the colour
    1. Low price = from 1 to 10 (as this indicates more availability, we usually advise a green colour)
    2. Medium price = from 10 to 20 (as this indicates average availability, we usually advise an orange colour)
    3. High price = from 20 to infinity (as this indicates low availability, we usually advise a red colour)

Keep in mind that the screenshots below come from a Demo account, hence do not show real data. With actual booking, the strategies will show much more variations.

2. Show availability on the time slot with a colour code

Show your customers how many spots are left for each time slot.

  1. Enable the strategy
  2. Select if you wish to display the message as text within the time slot or a badge, which can be inside the box or on the top right (see below).
  3. Select the availability range for which you want the availability colour to be adjusted and the colour
    1. Low availability = from 0 to 10 spots left (we usually advise a red colour)
    2. Medium availability = from 10 to 20 spots left (we usually advise an orange colour)
    3. High availability = from 20 to infinity spots left (we usually advise a green colour)

Note that if you already show the price as text within the time slot box, you will not be able to show availability as text as well.

3. Enable a Fear of Missing Out strategy

You can highlight the spots that are the most popular by enabling the following 2 strategies

Hurry up! strategy

With this strategy, you can indicate how many tickets are left for the most popular time slots and create urgency for the user. This strategy will take over the availability strategy when the threshold has been reached (here 1 ticket left).

  1. Select the style of the message
  2. Define at how many tickets left it gets activated
  3. Select colours

Sold out! strategy

With this strategy, you can indicate which time slots are sold out. 

  1. Select the style of the message
  2. Select colours
