Prerequisite
Disconnect the device from any power source before starting the installation to minimize permanent damage to the motherboard.
Handle the SSD and RAM carefully to avoid any damage.
Ensure that all screws are properly tightened to prevent any internal component movement.
Step 1: Opening the cover
Start by locating the two fasteners on either side of the screen (see the image for reference). Gently pull on these fasteners to release and open the protective cover.
Step 2: Removing the screws
Step 3: Removing the SSD
With the screws removed, you can now take out the SSD (recognizable by its green color). This step is necessary to unclip the screen.
Step 4: Unclipping the screen
Step 5: Installing the RAM
Step 6: Reassembly
Once the RAM is installed, follow these steps to reassemble:
Reattach the screen by placing it back in its original position.
Put the SSD (green part) back into its slot, ensuring it is well-aligned and fully inserted.
Screw back the three screws removed in step 2 to secure the screen and SSD. Make sure to tighten them firmly but not excessively to avoid damaging the components.
Finally, close the casing and make sure it is securely fastened to ensure the protection of the internal components.
