1. Important to know

There are two ways to access the Smeetz point of sale (POS):

  1. Via a web browser:

    • If you plan to use the point of sale only from the back office, you can opt for the browser version. To do this, log in to your Smeetz account at app.smeetz.com.

    • Then, go to the "Channels" tab or click on the "9 squares" > click on "Point of Sale".

    • This will direct you to the web version of the point of sale (Web POS).

  2. Via the POS application:

    • If you need to print tickets or receipts, you must use the dedicated POS application. Printing is not possible from the web version of the point of sale.

    • To use the POS application you need a Windows device as the feature is not available on Android or iOS.

    • Additionally, your Windows device should have a touchscreen, to simplify operations.

In summary, if you only need to access the point of sale from a computer, use the web version via a browser like Google Chrome. If you require printing functionality, ensure you use the POS application on a Windows device.
